Okay, this has to be the funniest thing I have seen in a long time! This is wrong on so many levels. Being British, I am especially offended and outraged, or at least I would be if I could stop laughing.

This is all getting very confusing. It is well known that knights are known as "Sir," e.g., Sir Laurence Olivier, famed British actor. But I have also read that members of the CMO, even the very young girls, are to be addressed as "Sir."

Picture this:

A knighted IAS Patron encounters a young female Commodore's Messenger.

"Knight": (nods head) SIR!

Messenger: (returns nod respectfully) SIR!

They had to come up with something to get more money!!!
