Germany seeks to ban Scientology
Its a bit of an old story, dating from December 2007, just before the whole Anonymous thing kicked off.
In short, Scientology has been described as "hostile to the constitution", and some ministers have asked their domestic intelligence agencies to prepare a report that will be reviewed next (this) year.

In the run-up to Friday's meeting, domestic intelligence agencies determined that the organization does indeed operate in ways that are hostile to the country's constitution. The dangers presented by the group they found, however, were limited because Scientology has had little success "infiltrating" German society. The group's membership numbers have also stagnated.

There was also a 2002 story on Scientology getting into trouble with the French government.

Scientology didn't like the French anti-cult laws either, I remember getting drafted by the CoS to protest at the French embassy in London against this law:

Freedom is a choice. Choose to be yourself, choose to speak your truth and do so with compassion. And above all else, choose to be not afraid. If I can't dance, its not my revolution.
