Hi Kristal,

Welcome to the lovely COS. If they can, they are most likely putting pressure on your husband to recognize what an bad person you are and trying to get him to split up with you. If you are deemed an opponent of the church (by doing things like posting on this site), you may be declared to be a suppressive person. If that happens and your husband refuses to disconnect from you, he would be subject to being declared a suppressive as well. Then his kids would be forced to either disconnect from him or their mother. While your husband just wants out, I'm sure this is not what he wants to put anyone through.

What a nice church. If you try to leave, you are subjected to harassment and intimidation. In an effort to coerce you to stay and/or shut up about their bad behavior your family is more or less held hostage. This is SOP and it happens VERY often.
