Welcome Melanie! Good job on coming out
I know for me I left *on* the Net ("Magoo Left the Building") having no real
clue what effect I was creating by doing that---back in 2000---but it was pretty wild, VERY FUN, and quite different than Scientology had promoted all those years. (The biggest differences were that ALL the "SPs" I thought and had been grilled were "so horrible"--were some of THE nicest people I'd met, in years. Also how horrible Hubbard made it seem like one's life would be IF you ever left. By 2000---the critics were way on the scene and were like Anonymous, now: A HUGE Help for all of us who had been "in". To me, they're like THE greatest body guards one could have, as well as super smart (they know computer skills many of us didn't, could create Web sites, etc--just as I notice Anonymous is terrific at, too). All of this is a gigantic help many of the Old timers, who left pre-Internet, never had.
For anyone lurking--this IS why it's so much easier to leave and come out, now, imnsho.
For you, having already been on Emma's board--this is a new leap. To me (and others have mentioned it)---coming out of Scientology is like peeling
an onion. You just whacked off one more HUGE layer, girl
My best to you,
