Introduction

Hello, my name is Annete. I am not an ex-scio but was excommunicated from the Mormon church back in the mid 70's. I've been drawn to the cult of Scientology for about a year now, learning about what they teach and learning about their INTENT, trying very hard to find their faith-based spirituality (they DO call themselves a church; a religion, right?). Sadly, what I have discovered appears to reinforce many people's claims that this is a pyramid type cult that has turned to worshiping the allmighty dollar.

I watch the youtube videos, I see the pictures of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise and his "death grip" on her at all times - we have all watched this young lady turn into a vacant shell of what she once was. She has tasted the koolaid and is trapped because if she leaves, she will lose her child. I just read on another site that Lisa Marie Presley and her family have disconnected with CO$. but very quietly. And now with Will and Jada Smith opening up a new school that so clearly is CO$ influenced - they are IN unfortunately - they might as well stop denying it.

Perhaps their little leader DM should stay off that particular boat - he DOES appear to have a respiratory problem, doesn't he????

Blessings and thank you for letting me vent. I think you girls and everyone posting at this group are truly brave pioneer souls. I wish the very best possible outcome for everyone on this forum who is searching for release.

Hey Annette, I'm one of those who are protesting at the Memphis mission. They have sold the building to the Slaughters, in other words, they basically sold it to themselves since the Slaughters are the mission holders. We may end up protesting at another place this month due to it being illegal to protest at a persons private residence. I'll make sure to let you know where we'll be. Also, to Public Clammer, the mission has always been simply that, a mission. The Celebrity Center is located in Nashville.
