No. Gay is a mental problem they will try to cure you of. Seriously.
HIV means they think you're PTS. _________________ "Everybody has a right to believe what they want to believe. But I don't believe that anybody has a right to trick anybody, to hurt anybody, to harm some body, for their own purposes." - Jason Beghe |

| L. Ron Hubbard called gays "sexual deviants". The very best response you will likely get is they try to cure you of being gay. Scientology is not a supportive atmosphere for the gay community. |

This is something I don't really understand myself.
From what I understand, there are gay Scientologists, and they are not in Scientology to cure their homosexuality. But I've been told that gays are discouraged from having gay sex while in the middle of an auditing cycle. I hear Scientologists on OT VII are forbidden by ethics from engaging in homosexual activity.
Different gay people will have different experiences on this. I guess the best advice is to ask a gay Scientologist who is still in, like Keith Relkin. |

I've heard similar things. But I guess, in a sense, being a gay Scientologist still requires you to somehow buy in to the "you are an abherrated being" bullshit and going up the Bridge will "save" you. And yes, a lot of people would be willing to do that so it makes sense. Religion is about submission after all. But what people consider to be their "ruin" differs. I think a lot of gay Scientologists, knowingly or unknowingly, see their homosexuelity as a ruin, since it is the Scientology view of homosexuality. _________________ "If you really want to hear about it, the first thing you'll probably want to know is where I was born, and what my lousy childhood was like, but I don't feel like going into it, if you want to know the truth." |

No they are not cool with it.
I am a gay female and my mother does not want grandchildren now.
but i wouldn't ever let my kids near them anyway. |
