I came to this site for this purpose. I needed to know the victims and their stories, so when I discussed my beefs with the CO$ with others, I would have reliable first hand and current information. I could say, "If you don't believe me, go to Exscientologykids.com.

I have read many of the stories, and the result is a loss of sleep. But, the old fart that I am, I didn't cry.

Hearing someone's voice tell their personal story, to hear them cry, brought me to tears.

This is another hero, who was brave enough to tell her story. Warning, have tissues handy.

Jesus f*cking Christ, what a story. This could easily have happened to one of my parents. I'm so glad more and more people are speaking out like this.

She was yelling at a Richard Reeves.

I wonder if that's the same Richard Reeves that used to sup at Delphi? His wife worked there too and both their kids graduated.

That was me. Thanks for posting! I don't know if that is the same Richard Reeves who was a Delphi sup, when I knew him he was married to a much younger woman named Astrid... idk.

I think she did give parts of that at the last protest as well, and it really is one of the saddest stories to be put forth by anyone formerly involved in Scientology.

Is the story on here yet? She's definately an ex-Scn Kid.

Wow, that was you? Jeez, you made me cry so hard when I watched the video of you talking about this at the February protests... Sorry for everything that happened to you. Sad

Connecting the names on the message boards with that of real people is one of the most gut-wrenching things about this, especially after reading all that has happened to a lot of you...

Again, all I can say is that I will keep protesting the church until they change their abusive policies.

In that case, here's her full talk from Feb 12 in Washington DC:

She's in the second half.

It is a difficult story to listen to.

Great talk! I hope one day to be able to talk out in public to strangers about what the "Church" has done to my family.

Long story short... http://exscientologykids.com/eskforums/viewtopic.php?t=192

My mom was in the SO, and due to the brainwashing against modern medicine, refused to seek care and proper treatment for multiple sclerosis. She was released from the SO, with Freeloader bill in hand. Even when she couldn't walk any more, she still believed touch assists and vitamins would cure her.

I am so sorry for your loss, and feel your pain.

WPRT, I'm so sorry. Sad You and your family have gone through hell. I'd give you a hug in person. Thank you for sharing your story, allowing us to cry with you. You have no doubt gained a wider support system, please please use it. You seem to me like a strong person, who is incredibly resourceful and brave, you have come through this standing up for yourself, your dad, your grandfather and your family and I am seriously impressed and immensely proud of you.

All the best.

*hugs*

Sharing a personal story takes courage, but sharing one of such pain takes profound courage.

Thank you for speaking up, Janet. You have sown courage into the lives of many others who are not yet able to. You have en-couraged them.

God bless you.
